5. Mosquito – by Emje Rose & Razteria.
It is rare to meet another female producer & Emje Rose is so much more. Representing the exotic sounds from the Colombian Caribbean, she reversioned “Mosquito”, bringing new life to one of my oldest tracks. A truely humbling experience, I thank Maiti Ruts of the iRadio show Pelagatos for bringing us together. I met Oscar Reyes at my sister in laws Fiesta de Navidad in the reputed party Barrio las Nieves in Baranquilla, Colombia, Christmas of 2016 & I look forward to future works fusing traditional with new music.
Emje Rose (guitar, bass), Oscar Reyes (percussion), Luciel Izumi (charango harmonics), Razteria (vocals, guitar).
Recording, production & mix at Afro Estudios.
