"Life is Crazy" Social Gathering begins with guest speakers presenting Fair Trade (http://www.fairtradenyc.org/) & Microfinance (http://promujer.org http://kiva.org), sustainable development initiatives that are making the World a better place by alleviating poverty. The public is shown how they can get involved.

This is followed by a presentation of alternative media - the new DVD magazine "Hybrid Lounge" whose mandate is to fight for tolerance and cross-cultural understanding by celebrating cross-cultural differences (http://myspace.com/hybridlounge). (8 to 10 pm).

These presentations are followed by 4 live bands - Strawberry Brown (Latin-pop & Reggae), Majeekul Koleurz (Afro-beat-R&B-Hiphop), Agent Double E aka Renee Asteria (Latin-Reggae & Rock http://myspace.com/reneeasteria, http://asteriarecords.com), Riddim Nation & RuffScott (Roots Reggae&Dancehall http://myspace.com/riddimnation http://myspace.com/ruffscott) (10 till 2 am). The evening finishes with DJ Ceiba spinning Roots Music (http://www.myspace.com/brothasean).
